.OUR CLIENTA leading worldwide specialist in the development, manufacture, and supply of MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul products), a leader in chemical solutions. In Europe, the company manufactures and supplies. Sales and distribution take place through its own sales branches across European countries as well as via distributors in other countries.THE ROLETo design, manage and lead the execution of strategies and programmes to profitably grow business and share-of-wallet through key strategic Sales Channel Partners in Europe. They will work with and through key stakeholders, end customers and distributors to optimise and leverage relationships for success.The role holder will also act as a subject matter expert on sales excellence within the organisation and drive improvements using developed people skills to motivate, persuade, influence, and collaborate on solutions. The Channel Manager is a key sales leader in Europe, and as such is required to drive and guide the activities of sales teams which may be outside of direct line management.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBe accountable for leading assigned Sales Channel Partner revenue and cost plans, leveraging strong business planning, commercial, and financial acumen to consistently deliver against Annual Plan commitments and drive sustainable organic revenue growth while maintaining and/or further developing margin performance.Leverage a strong understanding of the market, competition, and an in-depth technical knowledge MRO portfolio to lead the design, implementation and management of market focused sales and product strategies and plans designed to profitably grow our share-of-wallet at existing (Targeted Selling), as well as new (Core Market Expansion) Sales Channel Partners.Manage potential channel conflict with other Sales Channel Partners by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.Liaise with Sales Channel Partner key stakeholders and sales and marketing resource to facilitate effective sell-with pipeline management, working closely with partners to cultivate new business opportunities and projects and coordinating Sales Engineer activity to drive pipeline velocity and conversions at key strategic end-users.Cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Customer Experience teams to facilitate Sales Channel Partner effectiveness, enabling and ensuring consistent co-marketing and success, including everything from engagement, enablement, account management and customer service.Coordinate and implement new product placement, promotions, and tactics to grow sales, working closely with Sales Channel Partners and Marketing to design programs geared towards demand generation and building brand awareness and equity.SKILLSConnection with key Industrial channels in Europe combined with a complete understanding of all B2B distribution channel dynamics including wholesale and end-user
