Business Development Manager – Barcelona (Spanish Speaker) – EV Charging – Hybrid – €40K to €45K + Commission (Uncapped up to 50%)Location: Barcelona (Hybrid working model)Languages Required: Native Spanish & Fluent EnglishSalary: €40,000 – €45,000 base + Uncapped Commission (up to 50%)The Opportunity:Our client, a high-growth cleantech company, is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to lead sales growth across the Spanish market. Based in Barcelona, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of Southern European operations while contributing to the clean energy transition.Their smart energy platform powers intelligent EV charging, helping customers access renewable energy, optimise usage, and reduce carbon emissions. If you're passionate about sustainable technology and want to make an impact in a fast-scaling business, this is a fantastic opportunity.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Revenue GrowthDrive new business with key stakeholders in the EV ecosystem: installers, distributors, and mobility partners.Manage and convert a dynamic B2B pipeline into long-term partnerships.Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.Deliver revenue targets across EV hardware and subscription-based software services.Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across product lines.Market Development & Strategic RelationshipsBuild strong relationships with Spanish installers, wholesalers, and local partners.Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to inform go-to-market strategies.Share customer insights with product and operations teams to enhance solutions.Candidate Profile:Essential Experience:Proven background in sales or business development, ideally in the EV, clean energy, or tech sector.Strong experience managing commercial pipelines and meeting revenue goals.Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport.Able to explain technical products in a simple and engaging way.Spanish speaker (native) with strong English proficiency.Based in or near Barcelona, with flexibility for hybrid working.Familiarity with CRM tools and digital collaboration platforms.Nice to Have:Passion for sustainable energy and EV innovation.Experience working with installer networks or distribution channels in Spain.What’s on Offer:Competitive base salary (€40K–€45K) plus up to 50% uncapped commission.Hybrid working with a central Barcelona office presence.Chance to join a fast-scaling clean tech business at the forefront of EV innovation.Inclusive, international team culture with strong career development support.Regular collaboration with HQ in London and teams across Southern Europe.If this role is of interest, please apply directly.
