Business Development Manager - Madrid - Electric Vehicle Charging - Hybrid - Salary DOE Job Title:Business Development Manager - EV Charging Location:Hybrid (Madrid) Languages Required:Spanish & English Salary:DOE*This role focuses on driving Business Development and Sales for the company’s Home EV Charging product, targeting key customer groups including wholesalers, OEMs and distributors. We’re looking for a true hunter, someone who can proactively generate new business while effectively managing and growing existing accounts across the Madrid region. The ideal candidate will have EV Charging or similar industry experience.Role Overview: Our client is a market leader in the EV charging industry, developing and manufacturing accessible, user-friendly, and intelligent charging systems for homes and businesses. The company has already sold tens of thousands of units across Europe and recently completed a multi-million euro Series A funding round backed by top-tier European investors.As Area Manager of Spain, you will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and driving market growth.With innovation and sustainability at its core, the company’s mission is to accelerate the transition to electric mobility and smarter energy management.Key Responsibilities: Managing the entire sales process – from prospecting new clients to overseeing delivery and after-sales support. Providing technical and commercial consultancy, aligning proposed solutions with customer needs and corporate strategy. Promoting the company’s products and initiatives through events, partnerships, and loyalty activities to strengthen long-term relationships. Using CRM tools to track pipeline performance and ensure smooth commercial operations.Key Experience & Qualifications: We are looking for a professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a technical understanding of EV charging or related technologies. Solid experience in B2B sales, account management, or distribution within the energy, mobility, or electrical sectors. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with international teams.
