We are seeking an experienced Senior Agilist to join our organization.
Your profile
As a Senior Agilist, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies across our teams. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including executives, managers, and development teams, to ensure the successful execution of Agile practices and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of Agile frameworks, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful Agile projects.
Responsibilities
Lead and guide the Agile transformation journey within the organization, promoting the adoption of Agile methodologies and practices. Coach and mentor teams, product owners, and scrum masters on Agile principles, values, and practices to ensure consistent understanding and application. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish Agile goals and metrics aligned with business objectives, regularly measuring and reporting on progress. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering an environment of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to product-responsible roles and development teams in refining and prioritizing product backlogs, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. Identify and address organizational impediments to Agile adoption, working closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions and drive cultural change. Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of learning, innovation, and agility throughout the organization. Collaborate with other Agile teams and communities of practice to share best practices, lessons learned, and enhance overall Agile maturity. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging Agile practices, and relevant technologies, applying them to improve Agile processes and delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience working as an Agile coach, Scrum Master, or in a similar Agile leadership role. Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean), with a deep understanding of Agile principles and values. Demonstrated experience driving Agile transformations and implementing Agile practices. Excellent leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with the capability to identify and address organizational impediments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Agile Coach (CAC), or equivalent are preferred. Proven track record of delivering successful Agile projects within budget and schedule constraints. Experience with software development and Data Scientist teams is a desirable plus
