Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Agile Coach to join our team at Next-Link. As a Senior Agile Coach, you will play a key role in driving agile product development and ensuring our teams work effectively together to achieve the best outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach up to two teams to become self-organized, performant teams
  • Help teams improve their ways of working, to be efficient, effective, and work at a sustainable pace
  • Ensure continuous management of an active backlog, good practices in writing clear stories, and calculate and communicate team velocity
  • Enable teams to make quick and sustainable decisions
  • Organize and facilitate productive and effective meetings, agile ceremonies, and workshops
  • Guide teams in identifying, tracking, and managing risks
  • Be proactive in maintaining a healthy atmosphere and well-being within the teams
  • Promote a culture that embraces change and values experimentation and innovation
  • Live a learning and open feedback culture, mentoring development team members on Scrum principles, best practices, and technical and personal growth
  • Share knowledge and actively participate in Agile Coaches Community of Practice

Requirements

  • At least 3 years full-time experience as an Agile Coach/Scrum Master
  • Experience with various methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluent English
  • Effective facilitation and problem-solving/conflict resolution skills
  • Effective influencer, able to work upward and across teams to build rapport
  • Technical Background: experience in working in Software Development, ability to facilitate, understand, and contribute to technical discussions
  • Tact, diplomacy, and cooperation skills
  • Attentive and empathic nature

Bonus Skills

  • Experience and certificate with SAFe
  • Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum
  • Experience on a Team of Teams level
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring other Agile Coaches/Scrum Masters
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare/medical device industry and/or highly regulated environments
  • Skills in Spanish or Catalan would be a plus
