Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building and
    leading successful Direct Supply teams in
    global companies from the travel industry, demonstrating the ability to drive rapid expansion, particularly in international markets.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and sales skills.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Expert multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
  • Highly collaborative team player adept at crossdepartmental interaction.
  • Indepth industry experience with a profound understanding of hotel terminology and performance.

Responsibilities:


As the
Head of Direct Supply at Emerging Travel Group, you will be an instrumental leader in shaping our approach to inventory acquisition, supply management, and relationship building with partner hotels.

Your role will be pivotal in driving growth, enhancing our customer experience, and expanding our global footprint.

Long-/Mid-/Short-term Goals:

  • Drive an increase in direct contract partnerships to expand our highmargin supply.
  • Maintain a balanced approach that aligns with both customer interests and hotel partnerships.
  • Cultivate a strong, experienced, and agile Direct Supply team ready for growth and increased responsibilities.
  • Streamline acquisition processes for scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Enhance the efficiency and impact of existing inventory management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development for International Growth:

  • Formulate a cohesive Direct Supply strategy aligning customer demand with ETG's goals, identifying and addressing growth bottlenecks.
  • Prioritize rapid expansion of international direct supply to increase the number of properties and the share of Direct Supply in global markets.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, adapt supply strategies based on market insights.
  • Ensure continuous communication of the strategy to stakeholders, obtaining buyin and alignment.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize data analytics, identify strengths and weaknesses, and prioritize tasks based on data insights.

Acquisition and Management:

  • Develop marketing channels to attract new hotel and vacation rental partners for direct collaboration, especially in international markets.
  • Streamline processes for acquiring and working with existing direct inventory, including account management, reactivation, and rate competitiveness.

Collaboration and Relationship Building within ETG:

  • Foster strong collaboration and positive relationships with the Hotel Support & Operations and Credit Control Departments, ensuring heightened service quality and partner satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align strategies and enhance customer experience.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Direct Supply team, fostering a highperformance culture.
  • Oversee team recruitment, hiring, training, and development.
  • Manage team performance, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.

Special Project Management:

  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated team member responsible for leading the operational aspects of special projects aimed at enhancing our strategic positioning. Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure the successful execution of these projects.

Progress Reporting and Innovation:

  • Report progress transparently to the Supply Director and external stakeholders.
  • Innovate and propose highimpact projects to improve our client proposition and commercial success
