As the Pricing Manager for EMEA you will report into the Head of FP&A based in Edinburgh, Scotland with a matrix reporting line into the Global Pricing FP&A team based in San Diego, California.


You will be responsible for Dexcom's Pricing Strategy in EMEA and will work across the region with our leaders to provide decision support on the pricing of our products across the region, in line with an EMEA pricing strategy that you will develop and own.


You will work alongside the EMEA FP&A and Business Partnering team and develop and own all pricing reporting across the region.

You will work with the Commercial forecasting team to develop the region's quarterly forecasts, annual budget and long range plan, owning all pricing input.

**Essential

Responsibilities:

  • The role will be responsible for all pricing analysis and decision support across the EMEA region ensuring all decisions are made in line with the EMEA pricing strategy
  • The role will develop and own the EMEA pricing strategy working with the EMEA General Manager and Leadership team to develop
  • The role will attend and represent EMEA at Pricing Committee meetings and advise / recommend on pricing changes and decisions across the region
  • The role will develop, create and own monthly reporting packages, clearly showing the itemized prices of Dexcom's products by geography with the objective of providing deep and insightful analysis on pricing performance
  • The role will have a broad market awareness of the markets and segments we operate, reimbursement structures and competitor activity and behaviour
  • The role will work alongside the FP&A and Business Partnering to produce, enhance and provide analysis on our pricing performance and work closely with the Commercial forecasting team in forecasting future pricing changes

About you:

  • You will be a pricing expert with 7 yrs + experience of working in a pricing / revenue related role with significant experience of developing pricing strategies and building management information and reporting from scratch
  • You must be able to demonstrate that you have a curious and commercial mind set and be able to analyze and understand financial data and be able to simplify and communicate outputs to non financial stakeholders
  • You will have ideas from pervious roles about how Dexcom can develop a competitive pricing strategy, and how we can build and enhance our reporting to demonstrate that we are following this and identify opportunities
  • You will be an excellent, confident communicator, with an ability to simplify messages and influence others
  • You will have demonstrated, in previous roles, that you have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to form and develop deep relationships across the business
  • You will be motivated, not afraid to make mistakes with a desire to learn and develop
  • You will be able to produce multiple key deliverables under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times during certain periods without sacrificing accuracy and presentation.

Preferred Qualifications and Education requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience working in Finance Business Partnering, Pricing or Professional practice / consultancy. It is preferred that atleast 7 of these years are in a Pricing or Revenue related role/s.
  • Professsional Accountancy (ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), Professional Analyst (CFA) or MBA preferred though not essential
