**Job Title: Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance Europe, Clinical Diagnostics**

**Location: Home office based - Western Europe (Spain / UK / Austria / Italy / Netherlands preferred)**

**Reporting To: Sr Manager, Commercial Finance Europe**

**How will you make an impact?**

The Clinical Diagnostics Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Finance Analyst based in Europe to provide Commercial Finance support to the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization. This role partners with the Commercial Team in Europe to ensure that commercial and financial results are achieved.

**What will you do?**
- Responsible for Opex across Europe
- Responsible for Headcount across Europe
- Opex & Headcount forecasting
- Support in preparing Monthly & Quarterly business reviews
- Support in preparing and uploading Forecast & AOP in HFM / PLN
- Opex and Headcount analysis
- Prepare the financial progress of all business initiatives. Continuously identify opportunities to improve the profitability of the business.
- Commercial KPI’s analysis
- Regular Customer performance analysis
- Produce reports designed to highlight current performance opportunities and identify gaps to drive growth. In addition to standard reporting mechanisms, develop tools that can be used on an ad-hoc basis to produce actionable insights.
- Support to Power BI Sales, Opex and Headcount reporting

**How will you get here?**

**Education**
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or similar
- MBA and/or Master in Finance a plus

**Experience**
- Minimum 6-8 years professional experience
- Big 4 exposure (Audit or Transaction Services) a plus
- Experience working in Business Controlling / Commercial Finance at a Controlling department of a multinational publicly traded company. Preferably in Healthcare or FMCG sector
- In Vitro Diagnostics experience valuable
- Experience in international environments and matrix organizations
- Experience working at Regional level (Europe / EMEA) a plus

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Very analytical and problem solving mindset
- Autonomous and resourceful profile
- Hands-on profile
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in other European languages a plus
- Microsoft Office advanced user (mainly Excel)
- Strong demonstrated use of SAP
- Hyperion reporting software (HFM & PLN)
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Cognos
