About this role:


Momentum Data is looking for an ambitious Head of Sales to help us scale our sales team's enterprise customer base, increase average deal size, and shorten average sales cycle.

You will be responsible for managing a partially globally-distributed team of dedicated Account Executives focused on growing our enterprise client base.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the Account Management and Revenue Operations teams.


This role is perfect for an experienced, dynamic sales leader who wants to join a company early and help launch us to exponential growth, by selling our innovative solution with proven product-market fit.

We are 100% revenue funded (no VC needed) and have been able to sell our great product since day 1, and now we require an experienced team leader to design, execute and optimise a professional sales process for our driven team.

**Here's what you'll get to do: - Ensure accurate sales reporting, metric analysis, sales recognition, and other ad-hoc sales operations support activities.

  • Hire, coach, and drive a high performance team to deliver against assigned retention and growth goals while prioritising an outstanding customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain key client relationships and implement strategies for increasing the company's average deal size and shortening the sales cycle, by adjusting and evolving processes over time to meet these goals.
  • Design and implement a multitouchpoint sales process that clearly transmits the convincing message that our solution belongs without a doubt in any B2B Enterprise company's fundamental marketing mix.
  • Determine and constantly reevaluate the best sales tools, materials, training, etc. necessary to support the team.
  • Be a leader for the team. Be the first to show the way by acquiring clients, set clear expectations for your team, and provide constant improvement feedback. You need to be a guide and keep the team motivated.
  • Generate a positive team culture focusing on Momentum Data core company principles.

Here's what you'll need to be successful:

  • At least 7 years sales experience and minimum 3 years sales management experience.
  • History of effectively expanding a sales team in a fastgrowing startup environment.
  • Experience reaching and exceeding business goals, especially in the technology or marketing industry with SaaS products.
  • Experience with marketing or business support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fastpaced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Effective crossfunctional leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, both written and spoken.
