About the Job:
We are looking for a high-energy and solution driven Head of Business Development based in Madrid. He will be in charge of generating revenue in new accounts and consolidating growth. The candidate will work hand in hand with the team in Palma. The role has a focus on sales, but the incumbent will need to take care of general management tasks in collaboration with the Legal, Finance and People & Talent Department.
Functions:
- Achieve revenue targets by developing new business leads and ensuring growth in existing strategic accounts.
- Utilize various outbound tactics such as email, phone, and social media to connect with prospects.
- Understand the needs of customers in order to provide neat customised solutions offered by our platform Tesela.
- Demonstrate the value of Tesela to organizations through compelling demos and messaging.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the product and engineering team to develop sales pitch and sales argumentation based on the solutions provided by Tesela.
- Work with back end departments to resolve issues related to accounting, HR, or legal matters.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong drive, willingness to learn, and a passion for a career in tech and SaaS sales.
- Ideally, 1-2 years of business experience, preferably in a sales-oriented environment.
- Experience in commercial consultant roles in the area of Data solutions.
- Experience in the world of marketing and/or advertising is a plus.
- Energetic and positive attitude.
- Curiosity about technology and business trends. keeping updated by following news, podcasts, etc.
- Determination to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and proactiveness in daily tasks.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Quick wit and ability to handle objections confidently and the resolve to close deals.
