POSITION: DEPARTMENT MANAGER

CELINE is a fast-growing French and Leather-Goods Couture House that belongs to LVMH group driven by a new holistic and creative project led by Hedi Slimane, its Artistic, Creative and Image Director.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
As Department Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a department and a team. You will lead by example, spend most of your time on the shopfloor developing the business and your client portfolio. You will be a talent manager, talent promoter, and will closely work with the operations team to ensure all processes in store.
YOUR IMPACT
Business and client developer
Being responsible for the sales & profitability of your categoryRegularly analyze the category's performances and implement the right action plans when neededImplement clienteling actions and coach the sales assistantsBeing the link between the store management and the departmentProvide with relevant and regular analysis and feedbacks on your department performance, needs and on the business environment to the store manager and operations & performance managerBrand promoter and client ambassador
Promote the brand internally and externally in your daily environmentGuarantee that every client receives the utmost experience in storeHelp the staff succeeding in engaging and connecting with their clients to increase their loyaltyEnsure that the image of your department is constantly consistent with brand guidelinesEnsure that all the processes are compliant with the internal policiesProcess owner
Guarantee stock safety, accuracy and complianceOrganize and plan the activities of your department: support the store management in defining the staff scheduleTalent manager & skills developer
Lead and manage the department staffCreate and maintain a positive and motivating work environmentDevelop a strong team spiritCoach regularly each member of your team ensuring they offer the clients the utmost experience in store Profil
KEYS FOR SUCCESS
Experience:
Retail experience requiredExperience in luxury/fashion business a plusCompetencies:
High product and fashion sensitivityCommercial awareness and business senseStrong selling skillsAbility to manage and develop teams (coaching)Clients-centric: ability to understand and go beyond the client's needs to offer the utmost client experienceOrganizational skills, sense of priorities and agilityGood interpersonal skills, ownership, empathy and curiosityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented, highly organizedExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interact with all levels of the organizationFlexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysLanguages: fluent in english and spanish, proficiency of other language(s) will be an advantage
