Senior C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities Build and maintain programmable data center networking infrastructure using software-defined networking principles. Develop software for Arista’s EOS network operating system across physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers. Design and implement distributed systems using state sharing, publish-subscribe communication, and centralized system databases. Apply strong software architecture and algorithmic skills in a product-engineering environment. Support network testing, reliability, automation workflows, and integrations across Arista devices. Requirements ~5+ years of fluency in C or C++. ~ Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals. ~ Extensive background in algorithms. ~ Strong software architecture skills. ~ Hands-on experience designing and implementing software in a strong product-engineering environment.
