DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record and classify accounting transactions in the general ledger, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Prepare and review balance sheets, financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and customer and supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Manage invoicing, collections, and payments, ensuring correct VAT application and compliance with tax regulations.
- Support the preparation of tax declarations, including VAT, income tax, and corporate tax.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial documentation in both physical and digital formats.
- Collaborate with internal and external audits by providing required accounting data and supporting documents.
- Assist with financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Monitor inventories and fixed assets, including relevant accounting entries and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native/Ffluent in Spanish (C1) and advanced level of English (C1).
- 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive improvements
- Team-oriented approach with strong collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

- • On-site Accounting Specialist role in Barcelona supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include general ledger entries, reconciliations, invoicing, VAT handling, month-end closing support, audits, and financial reporting.
• Requires Spanish (native/advanced) and English (advanced), around 2–3 years' accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and good MS Office skills.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, stable role with training, career development, and an international corporate environmen - 39h: M-F, 9-18 on site
