Retail / E-Commerce Specialist

Job Responsibilities
Your role as a Retail/E-Commerce Specialist will be prioritizing the below responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sales account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed (credit cards fees, sales adjustments, etc.)
- Accomplishing financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Develop assign tasks for MEC (Month End Closing) with entries and reports
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and other accounting projects
- Supporting audits ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Retail / E-Commerce accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance standards (plus, not excluding)
- MS Office Knowledge and familiarity with relevant ERP such as SAP, Dynamics, etc. Other platforms such Shopify, will also be a value added.
- Analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying/resolving financial discrepancies
- English is a must; another language is a value added (plus, not excluding)
