For a leading construction company, who are currently developing a major project in Barcelona, with a particular focus on sports facility construction.

We are currently seeking a Tax and Account Specialist to join their team.
We are looking for a qualified and motivated professional with strong experience in accounting and auditing to join their growing team in Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic organization committed to excellence and continuous development.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and supervise the accounting of financial transactions in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Review and validate bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and provisions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
  • Coordinate the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings.
  • Serve as the point of contact with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Implement recommendations arising from external audits.
  • Prepare financial and accounting reports for management and regulatory bodies.

What you will bring:

  • Fluent in English – both spoken and written communication
  • Previous experience in a simular position is a must (5years)
  • Strong written communication and typing skills
  • Accounting or auditing
