As an Engineering Manager at Bitpanda, your mission is to empower and guide a high-performing team in building world-class native mobile applications that redefine the way people interact with digital assets. You will combine technical expertise with strong leadership to drive innovation, ensure delivery excellence, and foster an environment of continuous growth and collaboration.

You'll play a key role in shaping the direction of our product — from architecture decisions and feature development to process improvements — ensuring that our technology scales securely and efficiently in line with Bitpanda's vision to make investing accessible to everyone.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional engineering team to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions that enhance the discovery experience.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align team efforts with business goals and user needs.
• Oversee the technical delivery of features and improvements, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment, to maintain a robust development process.
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration to inspire the team to excel.

• A seasoned engineering leader with proven experience in managing teams and delivering complex, customer-focused projects.
• Proficient in modern front-end and back-end technologies, with a solid understanding of mobile and web development, including real-time communication.
• Skilled at navigating cross-functional collaboration and balancing technical trade-offs with business priorities.
• Passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for diverse audiences.
