At Welltech, we strive to be proactive wellness partners for our users, while continually evolving ourselves.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and coach a team of stellar Software Engineers for some of our products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a technical background as a Software Engineer.Key Responsibilities:Lead Operations of a cross-functional engineering team (30-50%)Ensure team health and performance across various metrics (Team & Org Health, Quality-of-Service, Product/Business, Dev Performance, Data Quality, Cost).Proactively identify and address risks and blockers.Drive improvements in practices, processes, and ways of working.Support team growth through onboarding, feedback, coaching, and performance management.Oversee the hiring process for the team.Lead the team through transformation and continuous improvement with confidence and clarity.Foster a culture of engineering excellence and high standards of quality.Strategy, Planning, and Alignment (40-50%)Align team vision, mission, and strategy with Product Manager(s).Collaborate with Product and Project Managers on goal setting, roadmap planning, and execution.Align teams on strategy and manage stakeholder expectations.Ensure strategic decisions are driven by measurable outcomes and business value.Designing & Building Software (0-20%)Stay close to technical details to lead operations and ensure quality.Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and key technical decisions without being on the critical path of delivery.Maintain a strong connection between technology choices and their business and product impact.Required skills:Proven impact as an Engineering Manager or equivalent role, leading cross-functional engineering teams.Passion for simplicity, efficiency, and enhanced performance with a pragmatic approach.Ability to bridge technology decisions with business and customer impact.Strong skills in managing partnerships and resolving conflicts.Strong product thinking and an outcome-oriented mindset.Expertise in addressing technology-related challenges similar to those faced by our team.Robust background in technical fundamentals, including Software Engineering/DevOps/Cloud Solutions.Ability to manage engineering teams and scale system components worldwide.Structured, analytical approach with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.Performance marketing experience is a strong plus.Proven ability to lead teams through change and raise the bar on engineering excellence.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Professional working proficiency in English.Candidate journey Recruiter call --> Meet a team member --> Skills assessment--> Meet the Leadership teamWhy You'll Love Working at Welltech: Why You'll Love Being Part of Welltech:Grow Together: Join a culture that champions both personal and professional growth.
