About the Role

The Head of Business Development drives strategic partnerships, new revenue streams, and market expansion. This role identifies and executes high-impact opportunities to accelerate growth in a competitive fintech landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and lead the business development strategy aligned with company vision and growth objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with financial institutions, tech platforms, vendors, and enterprise clients.
  • Build long-term strategic alliances that deliver incremental revenue, enhanced product value, or distribution channels.
  • Lead market research to identify verticals and geographies with highest opportunity potential.
  • Create business cases, forecasts, financial models, and presentations for executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to onboard partners and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Track performance of partnerships and optimize terms / engagement models over time.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles (ideally fintech, banking, or payments).
  • Proven track record of high-value partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation and deal structuring expertise.
  • Commercial mindset with analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and Russian is required.
