About the Role
The Head of Business Development drives strategic partnerships, new revenue streams, and market expansion. This role identifies and executes high-impact opportunities to accelerate growth in a competitive fintech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and lead the business development strategy aligned with company vision and growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with financial institutions, tech platforms, vendors, and enterprise clients.
- Build long-term strategic alliances that deliver incremental revenue, enhanced product value, or distribution channels.
- Lead market research to identify verticals and geographies with highest opportunity potential.
- Create business cases, forecasts, financial models, and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to onboard partners and deliver integrated solutions.
- Track performance of partnerships and optimize terms / engagement models over time.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles (ideally fintech, banking, or payments).
- Proven track record of high-value partnerships and revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation and deal structuring expertise.
- Commercial mindset with analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English and Russian is required.
