- Purpose_
- The Junior Data analyst is responsible for _
- analyzing data and gathering insights around different business questions. Create _
- machine learning_
- models and products to optimize business processes and answer the needs._
- Work_
- responsibilities_
- _ Underwrite new PI portfolios across different countries._
- _ Data processing, manipulation, analysis, presentation and interpretation of financial portfolio’s characteristics_
- _ Run Forecasting and Pricing Models including Sensitivities and interpret results_
- _ Support and compile portfolio Investment Memorandums (IMs)_
- _ Develop and maintain_ tools/models/materials_ to enhance portfolio analysis and valuation_
- _ Provides support and assistance to the other team members when needed to ensure knowledge transfer and business objectives are met_
- _ Performs all other ad hoc tasks delegated by Head of Unsecured Analysts_
- Knowledge and skills_
- _ Excellent Analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure mínimal Errors in portfolios valuations_
- _ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint_
- _ Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken_
- _ Able to work under a pressurized environment_
- _ Statistical experience in dealing with large data sets and data modelling techniques_
- _ Knowledge and/or experience in R programming._
- _ Highly numerate, attentive to details, quick learner and able to solve problems quickly_
- _ Self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop_
- _ Good communicator with the ability to communicate with different levels of_ Customers/Stakeholders_
- _ Able to work independently with clear instructions and processes_
- _ Willing to go the extra mile to achieve the objectives and meet deadlines_
