JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose
- Executes the Internal Audit Plan to ensure that the Hotelbeds’s Risk Management, control, and governance processes are adequate.
- Supports the Compliance Officer and/or Head of Internal Audit with the management of the Compliance set of policies and controls for the Group in coordination with the relevant stakeholders
- Monitors risk and actions included in the Enterprise Risk Map (presented to the Audit Committee)

Accountabilities
- Support the Head of Internal Audit in the monitoring of risks and actions defined in the Enterprise Risk Map (approved by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors).
- Conduct operational, compliance, and financial audits, by:

- Evaluating the adequacy of the system of internal controls
- Preparing Internal Audit reports and recommend improvements in controls
- Assessing compliance with policies and procedures and sound business practices
- Monitoring the timely implementation of agreed actions and reporting on progress Perform ad hoc reviews and special investigations (including fraud)Support the Compliance Officer and/or Head of Internal Audit by reviewing business activities to measure Compliance with policies and procedures, undertaking enforcement activities, providing advice, training and promoting the development of a compliance culture.

- Ability to anticipate reactions and objections and plan how to overcome them
- Ability to negotiate resistance effectively and win concessions without damaging relationships
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage multiple demands and work with individuals at all levels.
- Very strong business ethics, ability to manage particularly confidential information.
- Strong governance, risk, and control knowledge.

Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Compliance and/or Audit roles (External audit / Internal audit)

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant university degree (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, etc.)
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, etc.) is preferred
