**Our Hotels and Clubs**:
Aethos currently operates six properties and with more openings coming in 2025. The hotels in its portfolio currently includes Aethos Milan, Aethos Monterosa (located in the Italian Alps), Aethos Saragano (in Umbria), Aethos Sardinia, Aethos Corsica, and Aethos Ericeira (north of Lisbon). Coming in 2025, Aethos Mallorca (June 2025) and Aethos Madrid (2026). The portfolio consists of a mix of urban and leisure destinations, all aimed at providing an exceptional guest experience. Aethos has also recently opened its first members club in Milan, marking the beginning of its global network of members clubs. Aethos aims to create a collection of properties that will serve as clusters for its members and guests to enjoy. These clusters will comprise a city destination and a countryside or seaside destination within driving distance, offering a diverse range of experiences. The first of these clusters is located in Milan and Monterosa, and the next cluster will be in Lisbon and Ericeira.

**Job Overview**

The Maintenance Manager ensures the hotel’s facilities, systems, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, reflecting the luxury and reliability expected of a 5-star property. They oversee a skilled team to perform preventive maintenance, address guest-related issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety, legal, and brand standards.

**Key Responsabilities**:

- ** 1. Facility Maintenance**:

- Supervise the maintenance and repair of all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, elevators, and swimming pools.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure that guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas remain in pristine condition.
- ** 2. Team Management**:

- Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Schedule work shifts and ensure proper staffing for round-the-clock operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or development opportunities.
- ** 3. Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all systems and equipment comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and hotel brand standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and safety inspection records.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols for the team and the property.
- ** 4. Budget and Inventory Management**:

- Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement.
- Evaluate proposals and oversee contracts with external vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- ** 5. Guest Experience**:

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or other departments.
- Ensure repairs are conducted with mínimal disruption to guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to maintain the highest service standards.
- ** 6. Sustainability and Energy Efficiency**:

- Identify and implement energy-saving measures to reduce utility costs.
- Monitor utility usage and suggest improvements to enhance sustainability practices.
- Participate in green initiatives to align with the hotel’s environmental goals.

**Skills and Qualifications**

Must be fluent in Spanish and good level of English

Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in a luxury or 5-star hospitality environment.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.

Familiarity with maintenance management software and inventory control systems.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and risk management.
