**SCIB is looking for a Commodity Finance Associate based in our Boadilla del Monte office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Commodity Finance Associate, **you will lead the structuring & execution of Commodity Finance transactions for Santander globally, including Borrowing Bases, prepayment finance, transactional finance, etc. and lead the development of existing Santander´s Commodity Finance product offering.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Business origination: Assist the different Santander geographies on the origination of Commodity Finance transactions, including assist client meetings and preparing marketing material
- Lead the structuring and execution of Commodity Finance transactions across geographies, from agreeing indicative terms and preparing initial term sheet to full execution of the transaction
- Lead the approval process of transactions with business and risk departments
- Lead the implementation of new products and enhancement of existing ones in order to boost the origination of the products in Santander´s geographies

EXPERIENCE
- At least 3-5 years of experience in front office in a financial institution or equivalent.
- Experience in Commodity Finance, preferable in a Commodity Trading house or an Structured Commodity Finance department

EDUCATION
- Economics, Finance, engineering or other related degrees.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- IT Skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Languages: Spanish, English (Fluent).
- Knowledge of a third language will be positively valued
