**SCIB is looking for an INFRA TELECOM, COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE AND FUND FINANCE SYNDICATE ASSOCIATE, based in our MADRID office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As an **Infra Telecom, Commercial Real Estate and Fund Finance Syndicate Associate, **we need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Assist the senior members of the team in the analysis of underwriting opportunities / value added opportunities within the Infra Telecom, Commercial Real Estate and Fund Finance space. Primarily, you will be mainly focused on opportunities in Commercial Real Estate / Data Centers.
- Within the role, you will have to mainly deal with the origination team within the aforementioned sector: this will consist of pricing, liquidity and structuring analysis of several investment opportunities to add value to the core business of the bank, namely Underwritings, Principal Finance, Capital Finance, etc.
- You will prepare internal and external materials needed by the team. On top of that you will present such material both to external clients, explaining the proposed solutions, and to internal underwriting and credit committees.
- You will actively participate in defining the syndication strategies and in the coordination with the different teams for the distribution of the financings
- The role includes attending client and potential investor meetings (Banks and institutional accounts) and managing the relations of the bank with them
- Idealize and execute mobilization strategies both in the primary and in the secondary market, to achieve the internal objectives. This will include working with the mobilization team to potentially look for new initiatives to add value to the bank
- Keep up to date the internal reporting and monitoring of underwriting amounts (i.e. excess rate) and the P&L of the financings the team participates in, as well as to update the recording of all the comparable transactions

EXPERIENCE
- At least 3-4 years of experience in M&A, advisory and/or Structured Finance, Real Estate Firm
- Previous experience in the Real Estate sector is highly recommended
- Previous international studying and/or working experience will be positively valued

EDUCATION
- Degree from a top university, preferably in finance, business, economics, or engineering

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Financial modeling and great credit analysis capabilities
- Deep understanding of the key metrics of Structured Finance / Commercial Real Estate transactions, with a clear focus on cash - flow / value lending analysis, different types of financings, legal aspects, and different structure types
- Deep understanding of the debt world (bonds, ratings, etc.) and its dynamics (i.e. relative value)
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Well organized person and high communication skills
- Proactivity and creativity will be highly valued. The role will require the capability to take on responsibilities from day one and to propose innovative solutions
- Person with strong focus on bringing results and achieve the Budget of the team and the other key objectives
- Languages: full professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required. French will be positively valued.
