**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

The commitment of Santander is to be Net Zero in carbon emissions by 2050, in our own operations and all client emissions. Portfolio Alignment aims to measure the deviation of companies or portfolios from climate targets and benchmarks - e.g. Net Zero Emission Scenario from IEA.

As a **ESG Senior Analyst, **you will help in the definition and the implementation of the Portfolio Alignment methodology for SCIB.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Definition and implementation of Portfolio Alignment Models for the most concerning sector - i.e. polluting sectors like Energy, Steel, aviation, etc.
- Establish and manage the relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Bankers, Risk, Middle Office, Audit, NGO's).
- Analysis of sustainability market trends, industry levers, company transition plans and decarbonization strategies announced by our clients.

EXPERIENCE
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience in ESG, financial or credit risk models.

EDUCATION
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance and/or Accounting

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Office (required), SQL (desired)
- Languages: English (required), Spanish (clear plus)
- Other: Climate Change, ESG measures, strong background in Finance and Accounting
