**Job Summary**
As an **Account Manager**, you will **own and manage key customers within a defined territory**, establishing Altair as their **primary partner** in **Simulation, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Data Analytics**. Your role will focus on **developing and strengthening high-level relationships** within customer organizations, helping them **unlock additional value** by addressing their most **pressing business and technology challenges**.
**What You Will Do**
- **Develop, plan, and execute account strategies** to drive Altair’s **short-, medium-, and long-term growth** within your assigned accounts.
- **Focus on expanding opportunities in HPC and Data Analytics**, leveraging Altair’s broad and innovative portfolio.
- **Work collaboratively with a highly skilled team**, ensuring both **Altair and its customers** achieve long-term success.
- **Identify and qualify new business opportunities** while ensuring strong growth in **software and services**.
**What You Will Need**
- A **strong business mindset** with the ability to identify **how Altair can drive value** for customers while generating revenue.
- **Proven ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships** with key stakeholders.
- **Strategic thinking and execution skills** to meet and exceed sales targets.
- **Full ownership** of your assigned growth targets and sales objectives.
- **Excellent communication skills**, both verbal and written.
- **Fluency in English and Spanish** (Portuguese is a plus).
- **3+ years of experience in software sales**.
- **A mandatory degree or master’s in engineering**.
- **Willingness to travel (~50%)** to engage directly with clients.
