Insurance Business Development Sr Analyst - SCF HQ

**Digital Consumer Bank is looking for a Business Development Analyst, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.**

**Santander Consumer Finance **focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Business Development Analyst **, you will, in cooperation with the local Insurance and CRM units, develop statistical analyses and models to support the business development of the DCB insurance business, such as:

- Customer Profiling, as an input for the Product Development, to develop the optimal protection offer for different customer segments.
- Purchase propensity models, to understand best fit between customer need and product for the different segments.
- Price sensitivity analysis, to ensure a high protection level is offered to our customers.
- Distant channels analytics (Telemarketing and Digital), as an input for the Distant Channels Manager.
- Ad hoc business development projects.

EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of experience in CRM, data analytics or similar functions, ideally in an insurance company or in a Consumer finance company.

EDUCATION
- University degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or demonstrated experience in statistical modelling.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- General understanding of the insurance business in consumer finance.
- Capacity to work autonomously with the local Insurance and CRM units, and to come up with own ideas for analyses and models that could help fostering the business.
- Languages:

- High proficiency in English and Spanish
- Knowledge in other languages such as German or French will be valued positively.
