**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As a **Insurance Risk & Compliance Officer **, you will Insurance Global Team, part of Wealth Management & Insurance division, is looking for a professional to be part of the team as responsible of insurance risk ,as both a distributor and a shareholder.
This person should have a broad strategic view of banking sector and a deep knowledge of Bancassurance business. Reporting directly to the Insurance product & distribution risk Director, the main responsibilities for this position are:
a) Monitor Banco Santander conduct risk as a distributor of insurance products;
b) Monitor Insurance risk of Banco Santander as a shareholder in the insurance companies 49%.
This position requires experience in the management of both risks and a high capacity of relationship with the central areas of the Bank, local insurance teams and our insurance partners. Responsibilities include the proper functioning of the Conduct Risk Forums in all geographies, follow-up and technical support to Directors in the Boards in which Banco Santander is represented.
The SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE will participate in the regulatory projects in which Santander must be present and collaborate with the Public Policy areas of the Group.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Government follow-up established with the partners (Board of Directors, Management Committees), data analysis, information proposals, etc.
- Support to boards of Directors and analysis of information.
- Monitoring of the level of compliance of internal and external audits.
- Coordination with business areas for the alignment of strategic plans with the approved Risk appetite requirements.
- Monitoring of the main economic indicators of the agreements.
- Monitoring of the quality of sale, analysis of processes and improvement proposals. Analysis of conduct risk management information. Proposals for improvement, coordination with local units, participation in conduct risk forums.
- Monitoring of Compliance and any other type of regulation that is applicable and that directly impacts the management of the business.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and flexibility.
EDUCATION
- Business Administration, Economics.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- A high level of English (C1) is required.
