JOB SUMMARY
The company’s proprietary technology helps providers of travel services distribute their offering to travel sellers globally via an easy-to-use, advanced technology platform that increases reach, revenue and yield for both the provider and the seller.Operating under the Hotelbeds brand in the wholesale channel and the Bedsonline brand in the travel agents channel, the company connects over 60,000 travel intermediaries across more than 140 source markets globally with travel providers in over 185 countries representing more than 170,000 hotels, 24,000 transfer routes, 18,000 activities and 40,000 car rental locations.This position sits within our Supplier Integrations unit for Beyond the Bed (ancillary product) business
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supplier Connectivity Manager must be a proven technologist who can adapt and respond to the ever-changing demands in technical supplier excellence. This position requires securing supplier loyalty, forging strong relationships with external business partners, and overseeing the optimization of the API/XML Suppliers with a data driven approach. The lead is responsible for managing a team of TAMs and Support agents, supporting the commercial areas, and coordinating and reporting results of the rest of the areas.You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key strategic suppliers
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Advanced understanding of technical logic, component of any supplier integrations
- Ability to use monitoring tools and ease of learning multiple tools to support daily work
- Strong analytical skills with a data driven mindset
- Strong ability to understand business plans (commercial area) and the technical implications
- Good communication skills / interpersonal skills (exposure to a vast pool of stakeholders including top management) / Proactive attitude.
- Experience handling partnerships
- Proven knowledge about RESTful APIs. Previous experience supporting API based software development products
- Familiarity and experience interpreting data/logs from XML/JSON/YAML formats and working with SQL databases
- English professional proficiency. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to convey complex technical situations to end users of all technical abilities, including the ability to produce usable, maintainable documentation and excellent presentation skills.
