Site & HR Manager

We are looking for a Site & Office Manager with strong HR skills for our team in Barcelona. Your main responsibility will be to take care of the employees and take care of the HR operation and administration in close collaboration with the Global P&C organization, but you will also be involved in some facility management.

We are approximately 30 employees in the office with a mix of software engineers and technical support individuals and we are continuously growing that number. Our culture is friendly and forthcoming, and we have a strong sense of community with regular gatherings and camaraderie.

**Your main responsibilities**
As we are continuing an exciting growth phase your responsibility will pivot around building the structures that enable sustainable growth. You will be responsible for all day-to-day HR Operations, including recruitment and employee administration. You will also in collaboration with colleagues work on Legal and financial matters related to the site (e.g., facility management etc.). The responsibility comes with a great degree of individual room to maneuver in close collaboration with the Global HRBP team.

You will furthermore be the direct manager of the Office Assistant, so we expect your management style matching our people first culture.

Part of the day-to-day operations will entail:

- To drive and implement the Milestone Systems´ company strategy.
- Together with the local senior management team, to lead and create the implementation of a local plan, designed to develop the Barcelona site.
- Plan and implement initiatives that includes positioning Milestone Systems as a preferred employer in the area.
- Build and maintain internal relationships with all parts of the Milestone business operations throughout Spain and the rest of EMEA.
- Maintain cordial relationships with external stakeholders, consisting of but not limiting to the landlord, banks, vendors, and auditors.
- Ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Ensure teams are motivated, engaged, empowered, and informed.
- Identify and implement best practices collaborating and sharing with your international colleagues.
- Responsible for the site policies and procedures are compliant with local legislation requirements and aligned with the global company guidelines and values.
- Responsible for the Barcelona site to comply with the Milestone contract and liability policy.
- Be an advocate for the Milestone culture and communicate and promote the values.
- Promote key hiring and talent development programs.
- Evaluate and propose upon key investments such as equipment, infrastructure and talents.

**Professional qualifications**
- An academic background, preferably financial, legal, HR or technical.
- Business Management experience.
- Solid experience with one or more areas of functional responsibility and the business operations.
- Ability to coordinate processes and operations across an organization.
- Strong understanding and experience of and with the Spanish legislation frameworks.
- High level English as this is our cooperate language.
