Site HR Generalist

We are looking for a HR Generalist (Local HRBP) for enabling Gava Site to achieve our business objectives by delivering our global and local HR framework to attract, source, develop and retain talent.
- Strong collaboration with the Country HR Manager to drive HR strategies in alignment with our global and local framework to attract, select, develop and retain talent
- Local Partner for the site, on talent management aspects like PCM & Compensation, Career Ladder, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Talent Development - Leadership Intervention, Talent Pipeline Development
- Being a single point of contact for leads and collaborators leveraging our HR capability model and ensuring all related people management cycles.
- Effectively and proactively manage employee labour relation, identifying any potential issue or conflict, to optimize the best outcome within our compliance guideline & legal requirement
- Support transformation initiatives and organization changes in the organization and business by driving change and supporting supervisor led change
- Build collaborative relationships with managers & HR to ensure that they are using best practice in all HR Processes
- Lead the local HR Activities, whilst strongly partnering with Leverage Service and Center of Expertise for service delivery
- Ensure that solutions are relevant for current and future business needs and offers return on investment
- Effectively coach, mentor individuals, supervisors and teams as needed
- Actively engage with Work councils to ensure strong working relationships
- Provide support for broader Spain HR projects and programs
- Conduct in-person/site-specific onboarding program activities
- Work with managers to identify and validate job requirements and support the talent acquisition process
- Develop diverse talent pools, maintain university relationships, secure resources for and participate in recruiting events

To be successful you need:

- A degree or equivalent with 5+ years professional HR experience; Work council exposure will be an added advantage.
- Experience of using and designing assessment and talent management tools - Competencies, 360, appraisals, workforce planning, etc.
- Experience of leading change - culture, process, or practice
- Conversant of different technology platforms to drive HR solutions
- Ability to diagnose & identify development needs and design, delivery and facilitate interventions.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire, employee’s turnover rates, etc
- Coaching /Mentoring/ facilitation skills/change management skills
- Fluent English & Spanish
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to see the big picture rather than think in small categories
- Critical thinking
- Ability to build up partner relationship with the head of the department and all team members
