Compliance Program Development, Implementation, and Management

Support the development, implementation, continuous improvement, and administration of the Compliance program efficiently in Spain and Portugal, in line with the strategy set forth by the Senior Manager Europe Country Compliance - Spain & Portugal and leveraging the resources provided by the Compliance Centers of Excellence (COEs).

Key responsibilities for this role include, but it is not limited to:

- Conduct risk assessments activities.
- Design and update, on a yearly basis, a monitoring program for various activities involving interactions with the Healthcare Community.
- Develop periodic reports and assessments of affiliate operations, business strategy, and local industry environment to identify potential compliance risk areas.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to existing practices and other corrective actions as may be appropriate.
- Participate in internal or external audits and suggest audit priority(ies) when appropriate, supporting implementation of audit corrective actions, if any.
- Provide support on day to day activities of the Company’s Compliance program in Spain and Portugal.
- Provide ongoing guidance to Company personnel and providers, when applicable, regarding compliance with applicable compliance policies, procedures and related company policies.
- Provide support on the development, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance program and its related activities.
- Identify compliance training needs, support development of new and enhanced compliance training programs, and conduct training of Viatris personnel on a wide variety of compliance topics.
- Stay apprised of legal and regulatory changes, trade association codes, and industry best practices regarding compliance.
- Develop periodic reports and metrics regarding the Compliance activities conducted in the countries.
- Keep all documents related to the Compliance program activities updated and archived within the department directory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least 6 years experience in pharmaceutical compliance is required, although related governance, legal, finance or audit function experience will be considered. Graduate Degree in a related field (law or business management) is a plus. However, a combination of experience and education will be taken into consideration;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Monitoring and Risk Assessment is required;
Master or certification in Compliance will be a plus;
- Good knowledge of Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams);
- Must possess following skills: ethics; accuracy; planning and organization; result orientation;
- Great relationship and communication capabilities;
- Availability for occasional travel as needed.
