Those data-driven experts know that better people and machines are the most effective way of managing conduct risk.We're looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support the implementation of the regulatory framework for our French Bank. Be warned, this is a very hands-on role.If you have deep experience of advising on French banking regulations (non-AML and financial crime) and are excited to work on cutting-edge products, we want to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAdvising the business on regulatory compliance requirements and associated controlsSupporting prudential and consumer protection obligations across relevant processesReading and simplifying large pieces of regulation, and translating them into simple-to-understand business requirementsSupporting the business and Regulatory Affairs in engagements with the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution (ACPR) and other regulatorsCoordinating responses to inspections, queries, and regulatory interactionsMonitoring regulatory compliance, conduct, and culture risksPreparing and presenting relevant risk information to governance committeesDelivering the Regulatory Compliance Monitoring Plan focused on customer outcomesDesigning and maintaining relevant compliance training programsReviewing marketing communications to ensure regulatory alignmentAnalysing customer complaints to identify compliance issuesEnsuring scheduled monitoring and reported findings are carried out and followed up onAligning local risk management frameworks with global best practicesCollaborating with Group and Global Regulatory Compliance Managers to share insightsWhat You'll Need4+ years of experience in compliance roles within French banking, fintech, consulting firms, or a regulatorFluency in French and EnglishSolid knowledge of consumer protection regulations relevant to banks, including distance marketing, consumer credit, and complaints handlingA proven capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis, policy creation, and implementationA commitment to continuous learning and professional developmentNice to haveA professional certificate or diploma in compliance, or intent to pursue certification in the futureA degree in business or lawBuilding a global financial super app isn’t enough.
