For our client, one of France’s best known and internationally acting Banking-as-a-Service player, we are looking for a
**Compliance Manager**.
**The Job**
As Compliance Manager, you will be a member of the Compliance Department. Your main mission will be to supervise and lead the compliance system with the following two main responsibilities, the compliance risk management framework, and follow-ups, monitoring and evaluation.
Day-to-Day
- Participate in the establishment of the financial security framework and ensure compliance of activities with laws, regulations and codes of conduct
- Manage the functioning, the assignment of tasks and the management of the resources of the compliance unit
- Ensure team cohesion and contribute to the coverage of all compliance risks
- Ensure regulatory monitoring of banking and financial compliance risks
- Be one of the points of contact with the Regulator (Bank of Spain)
- Review and validate new product features: assess regulatory and reputational risk
- Working closely with other lines of defence and contacts
- Checking the proper implementation of the compliance system by the operational staff
- Execute actions related to the financial security and regulatory risk management system under the responsibility of the Compliance Unit
**Required Skills**:
- Strong expertise on banking and financial regulation in Electronic Money and/or Payment Services
- 8+ years of experience in Compliance or similar field
- Familiar with the banking, fintech and payment environments
- You have professional certifications in Compliance (IFSCO, CAMS, ACAMS)
- Experience with project management
- Fluency in English
- Eager to learn and overcome new challenges
