Quality Assurance Lead

**About the job**

As Quality Assurance Lead you will report directly to the Head of Software Engineering, working with cross-functional product teams, driving team development and fostering a cohesive and high-performing environment. Together with the Head of Software Engineering, you will identify opportunities to enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and ensure the alignment of quality assurance initiatives with software engineering efforts. You will lead a team of quality assurance analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective software testing and quality control processes. In this role you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders, including software engineers and product managers, in order to define quality standards, testing methodologies, and release criteria.

**In addition, your tasks will include**
- Implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance processes, including test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Conducting risk assessments and participating in the identification, prioritization, and resolution of quality issues and defects throughout the software development life cycle
- Establishing and tracking key quality metrics, analyzing data trends, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve overall product quality
- Championing a culture of quality and continuous improvement, driving awareness and adherence to quality standards and best practices across the organization
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies, and proactively recommending process enhancements and tooling improvement

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education & Skills**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or any similar technical field
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing tools, and best practices
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, including agile and iterative methodologies
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks, scripting languages, and testing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and drive results

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language is considered as an asset
- **Work Experience**
- Several years of relevant working experience as a Quality Assurance Lead or in a similar leadership role within a software development environment
- Experience in product development, collaborating closely with software engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle
