What You Will Do
You’ll build and lead an integrated internal and employee communications program for the Technologies and Partner Organisation, EMEAR. You will develop and deliver on integrated communications campaigns and content, working in partnership with all communications functions and stakeholders across the business, including the leadership team.
- You will think strategically and creatively to transform business priorities into stories and visual concepts that are relevant and engaging to a broad audience.
- You will work in true partnership with individuals and teams to extract relevant information from multiple sources and blend into a range of communications, whilst being culturally sensitive to local markets.
- You will lead virtual teams driven by shared goals to help advance the impact of the executive communications programme, whilst being aligned to the communications team goals and the right thing to do for the company.
- You will track and report metrics that demonstrate results and help to craft future communications plans and activities.

You’ll be at your best when working across the most diverse teams in the organisation, and you’ll have an obsession for constantly learning and growing.
Your key skills and experience:
- 10+ years of executive communications and employee communications experience in the technology B2B sector
- You are able to develop a deep understanding of priority technology areas (Networking, Collaboration, Security, Services) and the EMEAR Partner Organisation to design employee communications that inform, educate and inspire employee behaviour aligned to the company’s strategy
- You are an extraordinary writer with the skills and expertise to develop meaningful and engaging content that works across multiple channels
- You are a flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to gain consensus among others and handle sensitive situations and information
- You know how to prioritize the most important communications challenges and opportunities as well as pinpoint and discontinue low impact communications
- You socialise communications platforms with cross-communications teams and key business leaders to advance message consistency and impact
You also have:
- A track record of translating business goals into highly relevant communications goals
- A strong intuition, based on expertise and data, to deeply understand an audience’s perceptions and how to influence them
- The passion and imagination to design high impact integrated communications that deliver tangible results, in support of the company business objectives
- Solid project management skills with the ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines, and balance concurrent projects
- Strong interpersonal skills; intuitive ability to read people, influence where appropriate and execute when necessary
- An ability to work effectively with senior executives, provide objective counsel in order to get to the right solution for Cisco
