As a Communications Executive you will work within the Communications team to support the delivery of our Communications & PR strategy in Spain. Passionate and knowledgeable about sports in Spain, you are equipped and excited to support publicity campaigns with passion, creativity and exceptional attention to detail. You understand how the press works and what is important for Spanish sports fans.

You follow campaigns that cut through and are excited for the opportunity to be involved in delivering them yourself. You are proactive, have a can do attitude and are ready to learn.

In previous roles you have supported the delivery of PR campaigns, events and have been involved in a press office function. You will have some experience of working with agencies and ideally have been involved in successful initiatives for a major brand or sports property either in-house or at an agency. In this role you will add valuable support to several key areas of the Communications team including publicity, influencer relations and corporate PR.

This role will be based in our Madrid office. **As our new Communications Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to**:

- Dealing with media enquiries
- Tracking the news/sport agenda and identifying potential media opportunities
- Supporting the delivery of campaigns and day-to-day activity - working with colleagues to create buzz around our content and our product
- Creating PR assets, briefing documents for spokespeople and other PR materials
- Help organise launch events and experiential activity that generates more bang for our buck
- Creating and maintaining media lists and setting up meetings with press contacts
- Tracking and evaluating press coverage and commentary
- Ensure that we communicate well with all parts of the business and the group
- Support communications and stakeholder management in the event of issues and crisis
- General team admin, organisation and logistics

**You’ll be set up for success if you have**:

- PR/publicity/communications experience (2-3 years)
- Demonstrable sports knowledge
- A degree or other qualifications in Communications, Journalism or a related field
- Able to demonstrate a brave and innovative approach to communications
- Highly organized with fantastic attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management, able to communicate at all levels
- Outstanding standard of written/spoken English and good presentation skills
- Creative flair

- Understanding of the wider marketing mix and the role PR plays with other disciplines
