**Your Role as R&D Project Manager**

As a key member of the PMO, you will take ownership of the implementation and coordination of publicly funded R&D projects. Your mission will be to turn innovative ideas into impactful, tangible business outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the execution of ongoing R&D projects, ensuring effective internal communication, task planning, financial reporting, and quality control.
- Manage cross-functional technical teams, track progress, and proactively resolve challenges.
- Serve as the key liaison between IRIS, the European Commission, project partners, and end-users.
- Monitor project risks, ensure compliance with internal procedures, funding requirements and support the preparation of deliverables, reviews, official reporting and audits.

**Proposal Writer & Coordinator**

As a Proposal Writer, you will play a strategic role in the growth of our innovation portfolio. You'll be responsible for turning ideas into winning proposals that align with European and national funding priorities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and analyse suitable funding opportunities (e.g., Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, national calls and promote IRIS's capabilities and project ideas at brokerage events, info days, and innovation forums to build strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process: from concept creation to submission.
- Contribute to the writing of technical and administrative sections of proposals, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with call requirements.
- Prepare budgets, gather partner contributions, and align consortium roles and responsibilities.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Must-Haves**
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in research and/or industrial R&D environments.
- Proven track record in writing and managing successful funding proposals (e.g., Horizon Europe, CDTI, tenders.
- Strong interest in process monitoring and digital transformation
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented professionals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel and work in hybrid or remote settings as needed.

**Nice-to-Haves**
- Knowledge of innovation management (IPR, exploitation, business models.
- Experience in stakeholder communication and requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with one or more Key Enabling Technologies (KETs.
- Network of contacts in funding bodies (NCPs, EU project officers, etc..
- Experience in defining impact assessment and business planning for R&D initiatives.
