Currently, we are looking for a Project Manager for Volpak site.
**Main Responsibilities / Activities**
- Contribute, together with the Product Manager (Portfolio Manger), at the definition of the project scope, specification, requirement, machine target cost and project cost.
- Plans activities related to complex new product development (NPD) projects that results in the launch of innovative products, following in a strictly way the NPD process.
- Develops a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, and troubleshooting
- Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
- Ensures adequate communication is maintained regarding project status and priorities to all the Volpak departments.
- Prepare and continuously update regular update to the Board about R&D projects progress.
**Special Projects / Challenges**
The R&D project manager plans, monitors and manages R&D projects, from the moment that the R&D Project is approved by the Stearing Committee, until its handover to the Engineering To Orders Team, ensuring that objectives in terms of time, budget and resources were met.
**Basic Requirements**
- Degree in Mechanical, Management, Electronic Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years technical PM experience.
- Experienced in project management from modern, well-organized, international organizations.
- Experience from engineering companies appreciated.
- Experience appreciated on projects for the mechanical sector, especially for innovative, new machines.
- PMI certification as a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean SixSigma and Agile methodologies would be a plus.
- Uses digital PM tools and ERP systems.
- Good at negotiating and authoritative with clients (internal or external).
- Leadership and motivational skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Very good communication skills and fluency in English.
- Available to travel periodically for short periods.
