What you’ll do at Elekta

In this position you will be responsible for defining the business strategy for Spain to enhance the management and development of the sales organization across Elekta’s product portfolio. You will work hands on to generate orders, revenue, profitability, manage base cost in line with the individual targets set for Spain as well as manage the overall business success of Spain. It is fundamental to ensure that service, order fulfilment and other functional teams work closely to achieve sales revenue generation that are in line with Company targets whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do
- Define, develop and deploy the go-to-market strategy within the associated geographical area and periodically review and update as necessary
- Define and report the market potential and needs across Elekta’s product portfolio in the geographic area of responsibility
- Identify all opportunities for new client development and develop a short, medium and long-term strategy for conversion.
- Identify opportunities to expand product portfolio into existing customer sites, plan and document a process from needs identification to client conversion
- Ensuring all opportunities are captured in CLM and updated in a timely manner
- Develop a sales strategy to increase sales of the full Elekta product portfolio into customer sites, working alongside Marketing to create sales campaigns and marketing literature
- Monitor, review and support the full utilization and adoption of CLM in the area of geographical responsibility
- Create and manage the budget sales and profit goals for the defined geographical area
- Develop new and established client relationships including distributor partnerships where relevant
- Track and verify that the overall profitability of Spain is in line with budget goals
- Actively work with the Service Manager to ensure alignment between Sales and Service
- Effectively manage a supporting team of dotted line functional reports (Marketing, Service, Order Fulfillment) to ensure Spain’s strategy, high customer satisfaction and employee engagement are achieved
- Actively interact with other functions and operations within the Elekta Group to ensure timely delivery of products as well as giving active market input to the product development process
- Maintain the quality system of the BU according to ISO13485
- Establish a creative, dynamic and empowered open work environment integrating the Elekta Values throughout Spain’s operations
- Manage and take overall responsibility at a country level for the adoption of all Company technology tools including CLM, Movex, Workday, Medius and all associated IT infrastructure
- Measure and review the operational performance of Spain, highlighting and communicating any improvements where necessary to the Cluster Leader, South Europe
- Ensure that all Spanish activities and operations are carried out in compliance with all relevant legislation and Elekta quality standards and policies
- Take responsibility for the attraction, retention and development of the capabilities (competencies, knowledge, skills and experience) of the Spanish sales direct reports
- Ensure that regular face-to-face performance and coaching meeting take place with all direct reports and where necessary ensure that any underperformance/training needs identified are documented and HR support requested
- Ensure all employees have a meaningful annual performance planning and evaluation meeting where development activities are discussed, documented and acted upon within a timely manner in line with Elekta Global policies

What you bring
- Proven track record of achieving personal and team-based sales performance targets within the capital goods markets.
- Marketing and direct sales experience ideally in a capital intensive medical industry
- Strong knowledge / understanding of Indirect/Distributor Marketing and Sales
- Strong knowledge /understanding of Elekta´s product portfoli
