A technical degree, technician, or equivalent qualification (M/F/d).
To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (M/F/d) in the field to sell process engineering equipment (pumps, valves, and engineering services) for the Spanish market.
Habermann Aurum Pumpen GmbH is a German manufacturer of industrial pumps, valves, and engineering solutions. Our company has almost 100 years of extensive experience and know-how in sludge transport and is one of the leading manufacturers of centrifugal pumps for pumping solids-laden liquids. Our products are used in mining, the mineral industry, raw material extraction, the energy industry, the steel industry, the chemical industry, the pigment industry, tunnelling, and special civil engineering.
The head office with production facility is in Bochum and, together with our certified distributors and authorized service partners worldwide, forms the strong network of the Habermann Aurum Group.
Within the group of companies, Aurum Engineering GmbH is responsible for the distribution of our products and services. To provide our customers with the best possible service, we rely on close customer support from our regionally active sales staff.
Your tasks
- You will acquire new customers and be responsible for supporting our existing customers in the sales area through personal contact.
- You lead the processes from the offer to the conclusion
- You support the achievement of the agreed corporate goals
- You are responsible for the preparation of market, customer and competition analyses and use these for the operative business
- You analyze industry trends and make recommendations for innovative product developments
- You provide input at sales meetings
- Your focus is on personal customer contact
- You support the sales activities, e.g., through your presence at trade fairs
Your qualification
- Engineer/technician (M/F/d), e.g., mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Required language skills: English or German (advantageous)
- Several years of proven success in sales of products requiring explanation in a company in the pump industry or related fields (not mandatory)
- Good knowledge of the described markets and industries in Spain
- An affinity for pump technology
- Distinct result orientation, readiness to work, strength of action, assertiveness
- Strong communication personality with pleasure in dealing with people
- Serious appearance and ability to work in a team
- Business fluent in Spanish, additional foreign language skills helpful
- A high degree of flexibility and mobility
