**PagoNxt Merchant is looking for a Strategy & Corporate Development Associate based in our Boadilla del Monte office.**

**PagoNxt **is a new company wholly owned by Santander that incorporates our most disruptive payments & trade businesses into a single, autonomous company, creating one of the largest private fintech companies in the world. This new company will deliver payment & trade solutions for merchants and consumers with compelling technology to become a leading global payments provider in the medium term.
In order to achieve these goal, PagoNxt is organized in three different business:
- Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirers.
- Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs.
- Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals.
This role will be part of our PagoNxt Merchant Solutions team and will be responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform and consolidate Santander as an acquiring world leader.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As a **Strategy & Corporate Development Associate **work in the overall strategy & coporate development of PagoNxt Merchant Solutions. This will require working with all Getnet franchise to define the strategy, contribute to the execution of the defined strategy, detect and enable new business opportunities across markets, elaborate documentation for the Governance bodies (Boards, Managemnt Committees, etc.) and analyze and execute M&A transactions.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Assist in PagoNxt/Getnet business strategy analysis and definition and in the elaboration of presentation for different stakeholders (internal & external).
- Contribute in the execution of the strategy acroos the organization supporting the different teams involved, monitoring the different strategic initiatives implementation.
- Identificate new trends in the payments sector, analyse potential business lines and impacts on Getnet current business.
- Support in the identification & analysis of M&A opportunities to complete our value proposition, accelerate our implementation roadmap or extend to other geographies.
- Support in the analysis and negotiation with partners/acquisitions
EXPERIENCE
3-7 Years in Business Development/ Strategy in Payments, Strategic Consultancy, Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity or M&A firm.
EDUCATION
University degree in Business Administration, Engineering,. MBA is a plus
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Proactive. Analytical. Strong financial analysis. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Attention to the detail
High level of English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus.
Payments & Banking background.
