**Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for a **Front Credit Quant Associate **, based in our Madrid office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a Front Credit Quant, you will
- Collaborate closely with Trading, Sales, Risk and Quants Teams worldwide.
- Use Machine Learning algorithms to enhance our understanding of the risks and propose innovative solutions to the trading.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated person willing to learn and contribute to a very dynamic team. We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Close support to the Trading Desk, collaborating as well with other teams like risks, technology
- Analyze the behavior of different models to find their suitability for different products
- Create or enhance existing trading tools
- Document and share the innovations with the trading and the quants team.

EXPERIENCE
- Experience as a Front Office Quant, or similar position, will be appreciated.

EDUCATION
- PhD, DEA in Physics, Mathematics, or other sophisticated quantitative areas.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of object programing (C++/Python will be appreciate)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep mathematical capabilities, with knowledge of financial mathematics desirable
- Good at communication and documenting (LaTeX preferred).
- Knowledge of credit/hybrids/XVA products and models will be appreciated.

- Fluent in Spanish or English
- Spanish desirable
