Sales and Marketing Director

We are actively seeking for an enthusisatic and talented Sales and Marketing Director to join our fast growing CRO.
What you will do:
- Develop plans and strategies for business development and achievement of business objectives.
- Manage relationships with key customers and participate in closing deals, in strategic opportunities.
- Manage budgets, cost control, operations and resources
- Lead, motivate and develop the sales and back office team and deliver constructive feedback
- Develop the Sales plan and monitor the KPI's and ROI of the sales team.
- Provide sales and business development forecasts.
- Coordinate effectively to consolidate market intelligence and performance.
- Define and coordinate sales training programs.
- Implement infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
- Collect information and data related to customer interactions and leaflets.
- Monitor the activity of clients, market and competition.
- Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of satisfaction.
Your professional profile:
- A degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Genetics
- Master or specialized training in Business Management and Marketing.
- English and Spanish fluent. French, Italian or German will be a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management functions or sales of services, equipment or consumables to companies in the pharmaceutical industry (biopharmaceutical, veterinary, fine chemicals) and research centers.
- Interlocution experience with quality managers, clinical departments, clinical departments, product development, R+D+i, production and clinical developments.
- Global or regional work experience. Especially in central and Northern Europe such as the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany and Switzerland,but other countries such as UK, USA or Asia will also be valued.
- Network of contacts and demonstrable professional relationship.
- Experience in managing multicultural sales and/or marketing teams
- Availability to travel around 20% of the time, mainly EMEA area
