**Context And Mission**
- The mission of the Computer Applications in Science and Engineering (CASE) Department within BSC is to develop computational tools for simulating complex coupled problems in massively parallel supercomputers. CASE develops the multiphysics software Alya, which has been deployed in a large variety of HPC systems with optimal results. Within CASE, the Large-Scale CFD Simulation group focuses on numerical tools, turbulence models, multi-physics algorithms, data driven methods and large-scale industrial simulations. Main collaborations and projects focus on aeronautics, automotive, wind energy and pollution prediction in urban areas.

**Key Duties**
- Generation of high fidelity aeronautical data-bases
- Simulation of clean and high lift geometries by means of RANS
- Simulation of clean and high lift geometries by means of advanced wall model LES methods
- Reporting of the generated results

**Requirements**:

- Education
- Bachelor degree in aeronautics or engineering
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Basic CFD knowledge
- Basic turbulence modelling knowledge
- Basic programming skills
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Python and Fortran
- CFD
- Numerical methods for PDE
- Competences
- Fluency in English is essential, Spanish is welcome. Good communication and team-work skills to work in a multidisciplinary team.**Conditions**
- The position will be located at BSC within the CASE Department
- We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures
- Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
- Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement
- Starting date: asap
