- The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) is the leading supercomputing center in Spain. It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, was a founding and hosting member of the former European HPC infrastructure PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe), and is now hosting entity for EuroHPC JU, the Joint Undertaking that leads large-scale investments and HPC provision in Europe. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D into both computer and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof, and currently has over 1000 staff from 60 countries.

- The Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute (INB) is the central bioinformatics platform in Spain and the Spanish representative in the European bioinformatics infrastructure ELIXIR. INB is fully oriented to complete a solid integration with International Bioinformatics infrastructures, specifically the ELIXIR consortium.**Key Duties**
- Contribute to the refinement and enhancement of technology transfer mechanisms in major projects such as the Global Data Infrastructure (GDI).
- Ensure all processes are comprehensively followed by users, offering guidance and support as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with different project members, ensuring applied methodologies are clearly understood, agreed upon, and meet shared objectives.
- Develop clear and detailed documentation of methodologies and workflows, facilitating consistent process adherence.
- Track and analyze the performance of implemented processes, identifying areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex tasks and stakeholders
- At least one year of professional experience working in European projects, ideally within the research or bioinformatics domain
- Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Familiarity with genomics data management platforms
- Understanding of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and open science frameworks
- Exposure to technology transfer practices would be highly advantageous
- Fluency in English is required
- Competences
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Strong personal soft-skills sets: Communicative, enthusiastic, highly collaborative, proactive, self-driven
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Used to work under pressure under strict deadlines

**Conditions**
- The position will be located at BSC within the Life Sciences Department
- We offer a part-time contract (17,21h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures
- Duration: linked to the educational agreement
- Starting date: 01/01/2024
