CASE develops the fluid software SOD2D, which has been deployed in a large variety of HPC systems with optimal results. Within CASE, the Large-Scale CFD Simulation group focuses on numerical tools, turbulence models, multi-physics algorithms, data driven methods and large-scale industrial simulations. Main collaborations and projects focus on aeronautics, automotive, wind energy and pollution prediction in urban areas. **Key Duties** - Develop ROMs for transonic flows - Write reports on the various techniques developed. - Simulate aeronautical flows using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). **Requirements**: - Education - Bachelor degree in aeronautics, physics or engineering - Enrolled in a Master - Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience - Basic fluid mechanics knowledge - Basic knowledge in numerical methods - Basic programming skills - Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience - Numerical methods for PDE - CFD - Python and Fortran - Competences - Fluency in English is essential, Spanish is welcome.
