**SCIB IT is looking for a **Quality Assurance Lead **, based in our Malaga office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a significant role in organizing and managing our Quality Assurance team. You will have a direct impact on our product testing the quality of our production.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Initiate and monitor QA testing, making adjustments for scalability, functionality, and usability
- Conduct regression, system, integration, and web services testing
- Test and ensure that software enhancements and system fixes work flawlessly to meet intended business needs according to defined requirements
- Make recommendations for revisions or improvements, including product customization, based on client feedback
- Identify user stories and translate them into test cases as required
- Identifying and log defects
- Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers
- Provides specific technical guidance on defects to developers
- Ensures traceability of test cases to requirements
- Participating in sprint planning meetings and daily standup meetings, working with developers, and other testers

EXPERIENCE

Relevant experience in developing end-users’ interfaces and process automation, preferably linked to IT infrastructure. Any experience with new automation technologies, IA and ML would be a plus.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Experience in analyzing user stories and translate them into test cases
- Experience with Confluence and Jira an asset
- Experience testing RESTful web services and API's
- Past experiences with QA testing, GUI driven testing
- Experience working with data, API
- QA Testing experience
- demonstrated ability to write test plans with traceability to each acceptance criteria listed in requirements
- Ensure development projects are delivered to production only after meeting rigorous quality assurance standards in pre-production environments
- Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Team and Stakeholders Management
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage

JOB-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- API testing experience a plus
- Experience in BDD and TDD methodologies is a strong plus
- Knowledge about infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, network, Storage)
- Experience in working on a strongly regulated environment is appreciated
