The Learning and Development Specialist analyses organizational structures, responsibilities, reporting relationships and work processes to determine company-wide programs and/or training initiatives that need to be changed or implemented in order to increase organizational effectiveness within MCIS. Typical responsibilities may include process analysis and improvement initiatives (Change Management) as well as developing methods for measuring effectiveness of all programs that support organizational development. May partner with other HR professionals from MCIS to develop, assess, facilitate and/or lead organizational development interventions, programs and processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Creating training programmes that are aligned with the business strategy and Business Units needs and having a strong understanding of what these are
- Acting as the go to within the business for any leader with questions or queries regarding training and development plans.
- Working closely with various leaders across the company and having a full understanding of the units and training requirements
- Embracing different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching
Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training
- Building relationships with 3rd party training providers if required
- Assessing and maintaining the workforce competencies records of the unit
- End to end organisation and administration of internal and external technical and soft skill trainings according to global guidelines
- Main point of contact for queries on internal and external trainings and official exams towards certification
- Create and update the courses and programs in our LMS platform for MCIS
- Learning monthly reporting to MCIS stakeholders
- Introduce our induction programme to new joiners and new employee on-boarding
- Identify new training resources such as online academies, e-books, etc. and follow up on their renewal
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and documentation of our training policies, processes and procedures
**You will also be supported with the necessary training to develop your skills on the following**:
- Learning needs analysis
- Manage the relationship with training providers
- Data analysis to identify issues and improvements
- Keep control of the annual training budget
- Train the trainer
- Delivery of bespoke training
