**Job Description**:
Primary Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong leadership and technical management skills with the ability to lead a cross-functional team in the development of test solutions.
- Experience in overall successful project execution and oversight to ensure development teams have properly planned, set up project schedules, identified, hired, and trained staff for project execution, and provide oversight that the team executes to the established schedule and cost objectives.
- Manage cost/schedule/staff and technical elements to coordinate with the Chief Engineer, and IPTs to generate a completely linked, through documentation, tasks, and schedule, the solution to Skydweller objective systems
- Experience in developing & executing a System Test Plan and associated developmental test plans for hardware, software and systems.
- Experience in showing system compliance against a system specification by compiling numerous subsystem test results. Compiling artifacts and showing compliance against a system specification.
- Oversee / Manage a flight test team
- Oversee / Manage a system integration & hardware / software qualification team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to interface with Engineering Managers, Technical Project Managers, Program Managers, and Operations Managers across all business areas within our organization.
- Ensures compliance with development processes and standard work requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in aerospace engineering or related field and 8 years of relevant experience.
- US, UK, or EU Citizenship are preferred
- Must have the ability to NATO Security Clearance
- Demonstrated history in the aerospace industry leading a test organization
- Works well in large and small team environments
- Flight Test Experience
- Familiarity with system engineering concepts and model based approaches including managing bi-directionally traced requirements databases, allocation, and requirement verification and development status metrics
- Lead a system test organization thru a test campaign
- Execute program scheduling and managing customer deliverables appropriately
- Manage subcontractors and contractors necessary to complete the system testing
- Hold and evaluate internal design reviews on the areas of responsibility showing how the defined technical baseline will be tested
- Strong technical background

Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in engineering or related field and 8+ years of related experience
- SW Qualification Experience
- Experience in unmanned systems
- Good working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
- Experience / Awareness on projects seeking or receiving certification at the system or product level in the Aerospace industry (CS-23, CS-25, TSO, DO-178C, DO-254, STANAG 4671)
