**About the role**:
Our Support Competence Center is growing. The Field Technician 3D Printers (M/F/d) will perform activities related to software and hardware, primarily 2nd and 3rd level of support. Will be in charge of maintenance of parts and equipment, remote troubleshooting, inspection of new and/or used products, organization and controlling of maintenances and organization and lead of technical training for Straumann employee and in some cases, end customer.
Main focus will be Iberia and Italy but with the possibility of interaction and action in different countries where Straumann has a subsidiary and offers RapidShape products, all that achieving the standards and procedures and following general policies and HR from Straumann. The ultimate goal is to support 3D printing business in Iberia and Italy, assuring that Straumann customers will have amazing support and a great end-to-end customer experience.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Provide 2nd level support, services and maintenance for RapidShape products for WE Europe countries, mainly Ibera and Italy
- Analyze product issues and customers problems and find the optimal solution for the case together with 1st level support team
- Inspect and test new and used hardware and provide fixation when needed
- Inspect, test and repair spare parts
- Be able to and responsible for installations and handling of all RS devices.
- Train Straumann internal personal (included and not limited to the 1st level support, trainers, sales personal and PMs) on technical aspects of the product
- Perform installation and customer training for DW products when needed
- Domestic and international travel to train, be trained, provide maintenance and repairs
- To control tickets and follow up until it’s solved for the end customer (including logistics and financial process)
- Use ticketing tools provided by the group
- To control and manage spare parts stocks
- Participate and to be involved in commercial activities, events and congresses when needed
- Develop and homologate support documents for quality process
- Develop content and materials to support the 1st level and trainers

- Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical software or hardware focus area:
- IT, Engineering, Mechanics or other related area
- Fluency on English, and Italian or Spanish (preferable both)
- Experience and Personal Attributes
- Software and hardware management skills
- Strong initiative, proactivity and autonomous work
- Good communication and customer expectations alignment
- Well organized
- Problem solving skills
- Dentistry background is an advantage;
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals
